Rice Water
Rice water! This simple and random meal was a staple breakfast growing up and let’s say I have been thinking a lot about my childhood favorite moments and reminiscing of making this with my mum! It was always a highlight!
PARTY JOLLOF RICE FOR THE WIN!

BOABAB LEAF SOUP (AKA MIYAR KUKA)
BOABAB leave Soup! “Manyan Kuuka” as I grew up calling it. I doubt you even know what that is unless you are either from northern part of most Sub Saharan African homes. This is a vibrant green soup made out of the leaves of the baobab tree which is dried and powdered.
GORUNDNUT SOUP AKA ‘NKATENKWAN’

GHANA LIGHTSOUP AKA “NKRAKRA”
Okay family, can someone tell me who invented light soup please because this is a ‘lituation’ especially over the past week in this cold and 'snowy' weather. So of course, I had to sort myself out when my cravings set in.
EASY PEASY BREAKFAST…
How many times have you made excuses on why you did not have breakfast? I can think of a 1000 times I missed ‘the most important meal’ of the day and if I am being honest 999 of those excuses were mainly because I was not bothered enough to get into the kitchen.
